Who we are:

"Women in Transition" is an Outreach Organization for women from all different cultures of life.

In 2004, "Women in Transition" was given to the CEO& Founder Patricia Mckinney as a vision from God, and three short years later has not only manifested, but has been established in the City of Bridgeport, CT.  In addition, Women in Transition has become a worldwide ministry.

Our Policies and Procedures: 

Due to the confidentiality and nature of our meetings, all minors 17 years of age and under are only allowed to participate and attend our events, meetings and services with the presence of a parent or legal guardian.  In the event that they attend without one or the other adults, a written consent is required.  The parent or guardian will have to meet with the CEO & Founder Patricia McKinney in order to sign the consent form for the minor to attend without their presence.

What we have done so far:

In July of 2008, "Women in Transition" was established in the City of Bridgeport, as a branch of Manifested Glory Ministries.

February of 2009, "Women in Transition" hosted "The Afro-American Cocktail":

April of 2009, "Women in Transition" hosted, our first annual " Beauty and Health Expo".

May of 2009, "Women in Transition" hosted, marched, and raised awareness concerning Domestic Violence Issues:

June 2009, Women in Transition" hosted "Come Eat at the Masters Table", involving women with issues as an open forum: 

On February 26th of 2010, Women in Transition hosted, "The Beauty and Self Esteem Ball"

On July 16, 2010, Women in Transition Hosted "The Mind, Body, Soul and Spirit event with Motivational Speaker

Naomi Jones:

 

All of our events are to build up women, spiritually, emotionally, physically, and mentally, and in every aspect of their lives, especially where they have been torn down.  We also help to establish good character in those that have been broken and discouraged by life.. which has caused many of them pain and hurt.

"Women in Transition" is spiritually based on the foundation of God which allows Him, and only Him, to deal with and bring healing to the brokenhearted.

Through this Organization, we have resolved many issues at hand by bringing healing and restoration through the Power of the Holy Spirit.  For we know that we cannot do anything using our own strength, but must rely on the strength of one another.
